These still lives were influenced by the Baroque still life style and my experience at our Italian family dinners. This series is a sequence, exploring how these dinners happen. The table is set, food is enjoyed, messes are made and then we clean up. While all of this is going on there are multiple conversations taking place, some loud, some quiet. With my family there is always something to do and food to be eaten.
